AMP Capital Core Property Fund | May 2018 Update

The Arrow Asset & Investment Management Team have made the decision to remove the AMP Capital Core Property Fund from the Arrow managed portfolios. While the fund continues to have exposure to some very good direct property assets and has been well managed, given the recent events of the Hayne Royal Commission there is some heightening of risk of an increase in redemptions from this fund, which could place pressure on its liquidity position. It is therefore prudent to find an alternative property exposure for your portfolio. We have started the process to determine how these funds will be allocated and will communicate the outcome in coming weeks.

At this stage, we will continue to monitor the AMP Capital Core Infrastructure Fund. As this fund has daily pricing and greater liquidity, we have assessed the liquidity risks to this fund as being lower than those applying to the Core Property Fund. Exposure to direct infrastructure continues to be an important allocation within your portfolio.
